We will start the tour leaving Barcelona at 08:30, and heading to Girona, a well-developed city with a fascinating history. Discover its streets, and admire its rich architecture. See the cathedral, built in 1038 on the site of an old mosque. We can visit its museums, the Jewish quarter or the Arab Bath House. Stroll through the colorful streets of the old town or tour its famous wall.

Then we will arrive at the fairy town of Pals, a small medieval village that was the result of what used to be a fortress. From Pals, head to the fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell, a town on the coast with whitewashed houses that adorn the road down to the seafront. There you can enjoy a delicious meal in one of the traditional restaurants, and spend the afternoon exploring the rocky coast, visiting the botanical gardens in Cap Roig, or if the weather allows it giving you a refreshing swim in the tempting waters of the Mediterranean.

We will be back in Barcelona at 19:30.

This full-day bus tour of Catalonia takes you from Barcelona to Girona and Figueres, the two most representative cities in northern Catalonia. You will discover the medieval monuments of Girona during a walking tour, and you will also experience the fascinating world of Dalí’s surrealism.

The city of Girona was founded in Roman times. In its old town you will see some of the best examples of historical architecture in Spain. Among the main points of interest of Girona include its medieval walls, Romanesque and Gothic monuments, baroque spaces and one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Europe.

Figueres, also located in the north of Catalonia, is closely linked to the figure of Salvador Dalí. The Dalí theater-museum is its main attraction, but the city also has other interesting museums, such as the Toy Museum and the Empordà Museum.

Enjoy a day on the warm Catalan coasts. Travel to the historic city of Tarragona, the ancient Roman Tarraco, and visit the beautiful town of Sitges, full of magical corners with modernist charm. The day will end at the best urban beach in Europe, San Sebastian.

We will pick you up at your hotel in a private transport to travel comfortably to these two enclaves located in the south of Barcelona. With a specialized guide, you will visit these two coastal cities while you know very interesting stories and data.

Tarragona is located a hundred kilometers south of Barcelona, on the Costa Dorada, dotted with sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Its streets house one of the most important and best preserved Roman archaeological sites in Spain, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Tarraco was the capital of Hispania Citerior, one of the three provinces that formed the Iberian Peninsula about 2,000 years ago.

You will leave from Barcelona to reach this historical place, but first you will make a stop at one of the entrances of the ancient Tarraco. Here, you can admire the impressive Devil’s Bridge. This aqueduct 217 meters long and 26 meters high is a perfect example of the advanced Roman engineering.

Take a walking tour of Tarragona to discover the remains of this civilization while the guide tells you fascinating stories. Explore the ancient wall that surrounds the city and enter one of the best preserved circuses in Europe, hidden under 19th century structures. See the vestiges of the Roman Forum that have survived to this day with medieval and modern Tarragona. Finally, admire the ruins of the amphitheater, located on the Mediterranean coast since the 2nd century. Here the bloody battles between gladiators took place.

Then, travel to another location with a more colorful and idyllic charm thanks to the influence of modernism.

Sitges is located on the Costa del Garraf, 38 kilometers from Barcelona. Its privileged location, between the sea and the mountain, made it the perfect destination for health tourism, although, later, it became a curious place where artists of all kinds settled.

Today, Sitges mixes traditional fishing houses with a bohemian and lively atmosphere full of fashion shops, restaurants with music and street artists.

On the walking tour of the city, the guide will show you the streets and the hidden corners of its labyrinth center. See examples of architectural modernism in Casa Bacardi or Casa del Rellotge while listening to the interesting stories of the “Americans” who became rich in the new continent.

The fame of Sitges, the Spanish Saint-Tropez, is due to its idyllic promenade. See the church of San Bartolomé and Santa Tecla, the grand staircase, the Maricel Palace and the charming corner of calm where the musicians animate the atmosphere. This road will take you to the beach of San Sebastián.

End the day enjoying this idyllic place, considered by the New York Times as the best urban beach in Europe. Relax on one of its terraces and, if time permits, take a dip in its crystal clear waters.
